Mission
In collaboration with the association's committee, the volunteer head of the employment department is responsible for monitoring professional integration projects and developing the strategy for income-generating activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), with a particular focus on unemployed people from vulnerable populations such as refugee parents of students from Sainte-Léontine school. Their mission will be to develop self-financing programs designed in partnership with the beneficiaries and to support local partners in their initiatives.
Main tasks
Development of employment integration strategy:
Develop the overall strategy to promote the professional integration of vulnerable people in the DRC, in collaboration with local partners.
Regularly identify the specific needs of the targeted populations and define priority actions.
Fundraising:
Search and mobilize funds from institutional and private donors.
Draft grant applications and financial reports.
Project Development:
Develop validated income-generating activities projects tailored to the needs and capacities of beneficiaries (particularly in agriculture, livestock, crafts, etc.).
To aid in the development of qualifying vocational programs.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
To establish a project monitoring and evaluation system.
To strengthen their project management and monitoring/evaluation capacities.
To analyze the results and adjust the actions accordingly.
Desired profile
Education: Degree in social economy, international development or related area.
Work Experience: Work experience in vocational integration, social entrepreneurship, microfinance, or economic development in Africa.
Skills:
Proficiency in project management and monitoring/evaluation tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
Ability to mobilize financial resources
Personal qualities: rigor, autonomy, initiative, team spirit.
Interests: A passion for social and solidarity economy and the fight against poverty.
Terms
Contract: Volunteer (possibility of a volunteer certificate).
Duration: 1 year, renewable.
Estimated time commitment: Approximately 2 hours per week.
Workplace: Primarily remote, with the possibility of regular in-person meetings and potential travel to Congo.

Recruitment process
