About Avenir Congo
Avenir Congo is a non-profit association under Swiss law. Its area of operation is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), specifically in the eastern province of North Kivu. The goal of Avenir Congo is to invest in Congo's greatest asset: its people.
We believe that education and work are fundamental pillars in building a prosperous future. They are invaluable supports, especially in the eastern region of the DRC where the population is fighting to survive.
Avenir Congo is particularly committed to the youth who make up the majority of the nation and represents an opportunity for the Congo of tomorrow. The beneficiaries of Avenir Congo's actions include young people and the unemployed from vulnerable populations such as internally displaced persons in eastern DRC.
